Built for people who write in English every day
Linguix is a small team in San Francisco focused on one problem: closing the gap between what you mean and what reaches the page.
Why we built Linguix
Most people writing professionally in English today are not writing in their first language. The tools built to help them were designed around native speakers.
Linguix was built to work where the writing actually happens, inside the apps people already use, catching the specific patterns that make non-native writing harder to read without calling attention to it.
No copy-paste, no second window, no interruption.
The team
Background in language technology and early-stage product development. Focused on building writing tools that work inside the apps people already use.
Years building NLP pipelines and text-quality models, with prior work in language learning software and computational linguistics.
Product design background in ESL tools and communication software for non-native speakers. Focused on suggestions that explain, not just flag.
How we think about this
Clarity over cleverness
A useful suggestion is one the writer understands and can act on, not one that demonstrates linguistic sophistication.
Inline, not interruptive
The extension works inside the tool the writer already has open. We do not ask anyone to change their workflow.
Honest about what AI catches
Grammar rules have context. We flag patterns, explain them, and let the writer decide.
